Patricia Ann Gibson

Patricia Ann Gibson, born Patricia Ann Woyan on November 15, 1946, in Delaware, Ohio, passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 76 in Columbus, Ohio. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and nurse who dedicated her life to caring for others. Patricia was an amazing mother, sister and grandmother who gave endlessly to her family. She was known for her nurturing nature and her love for her garden and spending time outdoors. Patricia also had a special place in her heart for her two cats, who brought her much joy and companionship. She is survived by her two daughters, Tina Davis her husband Clinton Davis and Kathy Cook, as well as her grandchildren, Bradley Yerian, Isabella Pignatelli, Nella Pignatelli, Joshua Brehm, and Rhianna Brehm. Patricia was also a cherished great-grandmother to Giovanni, Nicholas, and Oakleigh (Annie). She is also survived by her sisters, Peggy Pickrell and Betty Gibson. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Lee Gibson, her two sons, Eugene Cook Jr. and Michael Brehm; her sister, Alma Robinson; her brothers, Leonard, Ricky, and Tom Woyan; as well as her mother, Inez Casey Woyan; and her grandparents CC and Anna Woyan. In addition to being a devoted mother and grandmother, Patricia worked her whole life as a nurse, always taking care of people with compassion and dedication. Her selfless nature touched the lives of many throughout her career. Patricia found solace and community at Amazing Grace Baptist Church, where she worshipped and found spiritual support. In her free time, Patricia enjoyed gardening, finding peace and joy in cultivating beautiful flowers and plants, knitting and playing her lottery. A service to celebrate Patricia’s life will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2023, from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Amazing Grace Baptist Church, 1288 West Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43222. The burial will take place on Friday, November 18, 2023, at 3:00pm at Hambrick Cemetery in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. Patricia Ann Gibson will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
