Paul Delbert Ray Runyan

Paul Delbert Ray Runyan, 60, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025. Born on October 9, 1964, in Springfield, Ohio, Paul was the beloved son of the late Delbert Runyan and Gloria L. Bonner. Paul was a master craftsman who took great pride in his work as a professional floor installer, known throughout the community for his exceptional skill and attention to detail. His dedication to quality workmanship was evident in every project he completed. Above all, Paul was a devoted family man who cherished his role as husband, father, and "Papa." He is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline Webb-Runyan, and his children: daughters, Sophia, Sierra, and Neva Runyan, and son, Paul Runyan. Paul also lovingly embraced his stepchildren, Brooke, Bret, and Joseph Burch as his own. His legacy lives on through approximately 30 grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who brought him immense joy. Paul is also survived by his siblings: sister, Shanna L. Marteney, sister, Angela Lewis, and brothers, Jason Runyan, Brian Runyan, Shawn Hill (Booga), Stacy Runyan, and Brian Lewis, along with numerous other brothers and sisters. He also leaves behind many dear friends who were just as important to him as family. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Cody Silvia; his brother, Barry Lewis; and his nephew, Jeremiah Lewis. Paul found his greatest happiness in life's simple pleasures. He looked forward each year to his Father's Day camping weekend at Jackson Lake with his family, creating memories that will be treasured forever. An avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing in Bellpointe, Ohio, and enjoyed the freedom of the open road on his beloved Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Paul also had a playful side, often trying his luck scratching lottery tickets with hopeful optimism. His faithful companions, his dogs, Diamond Ray and Lil Focker, were never far from his side and brought him daily comfort and joy. Paul's warm heart, generous spirit, and love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the strong family bonds he helped create. *In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to [charity of choice] or simply spending quality time with your own loved ones, as Paul would have wanted. * A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Bellpointe Church, Delaware, Ohio.
