Stacy Lynn Lamb

Stacy Lynn Lamb, 51, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away on August 11, 2026, surrounded by love following a brief battle with cancer. Born August 1, 1975, Stacy spent much of her childhood in Pickerington, Ohio, and graduated from Fairfield Career Center. For many years, Stacy was known as Stacy Mott. She was married for 17 years to Brian Mott, the father of her children, who remained her lifelong love and dear friend. Their lives stayed connected through the years, and Brian was beside Stacy during her final days—a testament to a bond that time and circumstance could never erase. Her family is especially grateful to Brian’s parents, Sher and Danny Mott, who played an important role in the lives of Tayler and Daniel and opened their home to Stacy in her final days, surrounding her with care and love. Above everything else, Stacy loved her children. She was the proud mother of Tayler Mott, whom she affectionately called “Muffy” and “Sissy,” and Daniel Mott, her “SONshine”—names that reflected the enormous place they held in her heart. Stacy was intelligent, strong-willed, curious, and wonderfully stubborn. She had an incredible capacity for learning, knew American Sign Language and, at one point, even learned quite a bit of Chinese. She loved her animals deeply and cared fiercely for the people she considered her own. She also shared a treasured friendship with her dear friend, Michael Merk. Stacy’s life wasn’t always easy, but she was so much more than the challenges she faced. She loved deeply and left an imprint on those who knew her. Stacy is survived by her children, Tayler Mott and her partner, Willie, and Daniel Mott and his partner, Katelin; her father, Kerry Wayne Farrar; her sister, Tracy (Travis) Barber; her niece and nephew, Akaisha and Brookston; her stepbrother, Michael (Alicia) Kimmle; Brian Mott; her dear friend, Michael Merk; and many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Tonya “Toni” Ruth Farrar, grandfathers Orlan and Bob, and other beloved family members who went before her. A Celebration of Stacy’s Life will be held Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at The Rock Church in Jackson, Ohio. Family and friends are invited to gather to remember Stacy, share stories, and celebrate the good times and the people she loved. May Stacy finally know the peace she deserves, and may those who loved her always remember that beneath everything life brought her, she was still Stacy—smart, stubborn, loving, and completely unforgettable.
