Timothy Alan Walter of Lancaster passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at The Pickering house with his wife Karen at his side. Tim was born October 18th, 1954 to Joe and Ma- rie Walter. Tim fought his battle with cancer like a warrior. He was not ready to leave this earth and this life, as he never gave up, but God had other plans for him as he will now be the guardian angel for all of his family and friends. Tim graduated from Lancaster High School class of 1973 and joined the US Navy in 1975 and was stationed on the USS Vulcan. His excitement for life took him many places, from the golf course to the oceans and beaches. Tim was always looking for a fun adventure and never knew a stranger. When you talk about Tim, people always remember his great smile, his easy-going disposition and his entertaining stories. Tim enjoyed welcoming everybody to his home for the traditional Ohio State football games or the random gatherings on the patio. Tim always said all he knew was bars and cars. Tim owned several local establishments, Down the Hatch, Waldee’s and Timmy’s Blue Moon. Tim also sold cars at Buckeye Honda and retired as sales manager from Taylor Team of Dealerships. After retirement Tim and Karen were fortunate to spend the winter months in Sebring, Florida where they made many lifelong friends Tim is survived by his wife Karen, son Nick Walter, granddaughters Lexi and Adriana, stepson Tom (Kathleen) Engle, grandsons Blaise, Tabor and Harrison. Siblings Joe (Candy) Walter, Tina Thompson (Jack), Joel (Victoria) Walter, Donna (Brent) Locher, Mark (Jacquelyn) Sells, mother and father-in-law Bill and Janet Kisling, broth- ers-in-law Tom (Starla) Kisling and Steve Kisling along with many close friends, cousins, nieces and nephews. Tim ia preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law John Thompson, sister, Anita Sells Fisher, infant sister, Judy and stepmother, Norma Bagby. A cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made to Fairhope Hospice or a charity of your choice.
