Twyla Elaine (Meadows) Stalder, 80 of Nelsonville, Ohio formerly of Newark was born in The Plains, Ohio on August 12, 1938. She passed peacefully on December 17, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was a kind loving mother, grandmother and friend. Her talents include being an avid homemaker, artist, beautician, medical transcriptionist, traveler, seamstress, reading, jewelry designer, gardener, and many more. Twyla was preceded in death by her loving son, W Kevin Stalder, two brothers, Rodney and Shawn Meadows of Newark and great-granddaughter, MaKell Alvis. She is survived by two daughters, Karen Stalder (Zahid), Nelsonville; Kelly Alvis (David), Lancaster; a son, R Keith Stalder (Mary) of Athens. She is also survived by four brothers, Larry (Alice) Meadows, San Diego CA; Dale Meadows, AZ; Albert (Patricia) Meadows of Frazeysburg; and Michael (Teresa) Meadows of Baltimore. Her grandchildren include: Sierra Meek; Parker, Chase, and Travis Elliott; Brooklyn Lindsey, Betsy Holmes, Courtney, and Matt Alvis; Nathan, Joshua, and Derek Stalder, Uriah Alvis, Reece and Nora Holmes, Kirra and Mya Lindsey, and Hudson and Crew Alvis. Great grandchildren: Shane and Logan Meek; Easton, Kenzie, and Raygan Elliott; Corbin Stalder; Abigail, Ora, and Colin Elliott; Hudson, Paisley, Vada, and Oakley Stalder; Ila Stalder. One great-great granddaughter: Emsley Elliott-Kitchen. Very special friends include: Laura Kreider, Athens; Michael Elliott, Nelsonville; Diane Drescher-Vest, Lancaster; Bobbi Lyons, Buchtel. She and her granddaughter, Jameela Mumtaz, lovingly cared for each other for the last 10 years of her life. There will be no calling hours or services. A private burial will be at Connett Cemetery in Nelsonville. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Fairhope Hospice, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, OH 43130.
