Woodrow Eugene Dotson
October 2, 2007 - May 11, 2022
Woodrow Eugene Dotson of Columbus, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2022 at the age of 15. He is survived by parents, Jim and Rae Ann Dotson; brother, Mookie Pookie Punkin Pie; and many friends, as he never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dick and Joan Anderson. Woodrow was a shining light and our best friend. He was the best softball mascot and always cheering his team on. He was a big hero in a little body and once tried to save his cousin, Oliver, during an adventurous canoe trip after he fell in the Hocking River. Woodrow survived an attack by two great danes and continued to love everyone of all shapes and sizes. He was the best listener and snuggle bunny although he could clear a room with his toots. He enjoyed wearing clothes and once won a costume contest dressed as a hot dog at the Columbus Clippers baseball game. He loved going for walks and being with his mom especially. He might have been judging you quietly, but on the inside usually. He once played hide and seek with his aunt Missy but she didn’t know she was playing. His brother, Mookie, will miss him especially his built-in smile will be missed but we know he’ll be waiting in heaven for us. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
