Elizabeth Julie Biggerstaff

Elizabeth Julie Biggerstaff, lovingly known as Julie to her friends and family, was a beacon of faith and love who left this Earth to join her Heavenly Father on June 8, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on July 19, 1954, in Iowa to her beloved parents Ruth Croghan (Brown) and Alvie Biggerstaff. Julie's journey in life was marked by her unwavering Christian faith and her capacity to find joy in the everyday pleasures of life. Julie received her diploma and graduated from Rowland Heights High School in 1972. Her Christian faith was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through life’s trials and tribulations with grace and resilience. Julie embodied the essence of a life well-lived, as she cultivated a loving and welcoming environment for all who knew her. Her love for thrifting was more than a hobby; it was a testament to her belief that treasures can be found in the least expected places. Julie's enjoyment of coloring brought a spectrum of colors into the lives of those around her, and her spontaneous nature meant she was always up for a ride, with or without a destination in mind. Her love for watching Joyce Meyer with her sister, Kathleen and nephew, Timothy spoke volumes about her dedication to nurturing her spiritual growth. Julie is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Diantha; sister, Kathleen; brother, Michael; and her brother, Stephen. She is survived by her younger siblings, David, Danny, Edward, and remembered with love from many of her nieces/nephews along with great nieces/nephews. Ms. Biggerstaff's life was a testament to the power of faith, the warmth of friendship, and the depth of family ties. Her friendly spirit and loving nature made her a cherished member of her community and an individual whose presence was a gift to all who had the privilege to know her. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate her life, knowing that she has found eternal peace and joy in the arms of her Savior. Her memory will be treasured in the hearts of those she touched, and her legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire us. Julie's life was a journey of kindness, and hers was a soul truly beautiful in the eyes of the Lord. She has left us to prepare a place for us, and we look forward to the day when we shall be joyfully reunited in the presence of our Heavenly Father.
