Konrad Joseph Modschiedler

Konrad Joseph Modschiedler went to be with the love of his life, Jeri (Dotson) Modschiedler on March 23, 2026, in Lima, Ohio. Konrad was born on December 27, 1970, in Portsmouth, Ohio. He graduated from Lima Senior High School. He was an avid adult league softball player and instilled that love of sports in his children. Konrad and Jeri met and fell in love in 2006 and married in 2009. Together they created an amazing family with seven children. Konrad was the vice president of Northwestern Ohio Lady Buckeyes travel softball organization. He was involved in Shawnee softball for almost twenty years and coached all four of his girls. He was not just a motorcycle enthusiast. He and Jeri enjoyed many date nights on his bike. Konrad embraced every mile. He also loved Ohio State Buckeye football and especially loved spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Jeri (Dotson) Modschiedler; father, Konrad C. Modschiedler; and grandparents, Dick and Connie Eckhart. He is survived by his children, Konrad Jr. (Megan), Aaron, Tahler (Cody), Madison, Payton (Connor), Kennedi, and Louden; grandchildren, Arabella, Wyatt, Everleigh, Carter, and Colton; mother, Elizabeth (John); mother, Sandy (Bob); best friend and brother, Toby; siblings, Kayla, Ryan (Lisa), Eric (Cheri), Amy (Jeff); and many other family members and friends. Konrad will be deeply missed-by family, by friends, and by anyone lucky enough to have crossed his path. He was one of a kind, and the world is better for having had him in it. Viewing to be held on March 27, 2026, at 2pm-6pm at Shawnee United Methodist, 2600 Zurmehly Road, Lima, Ohio 45806. Funeral service at 6pm. Pastor Lori Wright to officiate. In true Konrad fashion, please leave the suits and ties at home-he’d much rather see you comfortable and smiling. Celebration of Life to be held on May 16, 2026, at Labor Union Hall, 4580 South Dixie Highway, Lima, Ohio 45805. Poker Run registration begins at 11am and kickstands up at 12pm.
