Mary (Mollie) Deedrick Lambillotte

Mary (Mollie) Deedrick Lambillotte September 17, 1938 - August 7, 2026, passed away peacefully at home with her family. Mary was 87. Mary is preceded in death by her husband Gordon Lambillotte in 2008 and her daughter and best friend Lucille (Lucy) Lambillotte in 2004. Mary is survived by her sons Jeff and John (Jodi), grandchildren Jacqueline (Matt), Eric, Ashley, Carter, Rachel, and great grandchild Grayson. She is also survived by her brother Steven Deedrick and her very close friend Pete, and many nieces, nephews and friends whom she loved dearly. Mary grew up in Mount Vernon, Ohio and attended Ohio Wesleyan and OSU studying psychology. After retiring from being a full-time mom and then full-time job at JC Penney Insurance, Mary loved spending time at her summer home on Lake Erie where she spent many great times with her family and friends on the beach, on the boat, or playing Sorry with the grandkids, and where she would lovingly nurse her daughter and husband's bouts with cancer. Growing up Mary was the neighborhood mom where she made her home open and welcoming to everyone who stopped by. She was the travel mom, chauffeuring her children and their friends back and forth to hundreds of sporting events in and out of state. Later, when she became a restaurateur, she was known as “Mother Clucker” when she and her son opened a wing restaurant and sports bar in Uptown Westerville. Every patron that knew her knew how appropriate that title was. Those times got her out of her home and lifted her spirits again and brought back her loving smile after losing her daughter and husband to cancer. Mary will be so sadly missed by her family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved so much. The family gives an insurmountable debt of gratitude and love to Jodi, John’s fiancée and Mary's nurse, who never left her side for 6 months and turned the 2 days Mary's doctors gave her to live in February to almost fully rehabilitated in the following 6 months. The family also gives love and gratitude to Bristol Hospice for their care, friendship and love. Henry, Sarah, Dyazia, Zach and Dom. Your care, direction, advice, music therapy, love, and sometimes just silence, was so comforting and helpful in her last two weeks. They are the best of the best in hospice care where the family has experienced many. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 21 at 11am at Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church, in Mount Vernon, Ohio with Rev. Thom Fowler officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Chapel Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held right after her funeral for all friends and family that attended or could not attend her funeral from 3pm to 7pm at her home 7758 Kelly Ave Dublin, OH.
